Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GetBizOnline (the "Service"), operated at getbizonline.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

GetBizOnline is operated by an individual under the name "GetBizOnline." There is no formal corporate entity at this time.

1. What GetBizOnline Does

GetBizOnline helps local businesses get a professional landing page quickly. Here is how it works:

• You provide a link to your business (Google Maps, Facebook, Yelp, or similar) or type your business name.
• We pull publicly available business information such as your business name, address, phone number, reviews, and photos from public sources.
• Our AI generates a landing page with personalized content: taglines, descriptions, and service details.
• The page is hosted on a subdomain of getbizonline.com (e.g., your-business.getbizonline.com) or on your own custom domain if you are on a paid plan.

2. Accounts

To claim or manage a page, you need to create an account. Accounts are created using magic link email login. You verify ownership of your business through an email verification code (OTP).

You are responsible for:

• Providing a valid email address that you have access to.
• Keeping your account secure. We use passwordless login, so anyone with access to your email can access your account.
• Everything that happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One person or business may only create accounts for businesses they own or are authorized to represent.

3. Free and Paid Plans

Free Plan

• 1 landing page hosted on a getbizonline.com subdomain
• Up to 10 lead notifications per month
• Basic analytics (page views and contact clicks)

Pro Plan ($19/month)

• Custom domain support
• Unlimited lead notifications
• SEO indexing (your page gets indexed by search engines)

Business Plan ($49/month)

• Up to 5 landing pages
• Advanced analytics
• Everything in Pro

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.

We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.

4. Content Ownership

Your business data is yours. You own the facts about your business: your name, address, phone number, services, and any information you provide directly.

AI-generated content. The taglines, descriptions, and other text generated by our AI are created specifically for your page. You are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use this generated content for your business, even if you stop using GetBizOnline. We retain the right to use similar AI-generated content for other customers, since AI may produce similar outputs for similar inputs.

Photos and reviews. Photos and reviews displayed on your page come from public sources (like Google Maps). We display them under fair use for the purpose of representing your business. If you are the rights holder and want something removed, contact us.

Templates and design. The page templates, layouts, and design elements belong to GetBizOnline. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell our templates.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Create pages for businesses you do not own or have authorization to represent.
• Create pages for fake or non-existent businesses.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
• Upload or generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on someone else's rights.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to collect personal data about individuals without their consent.
• Resell the Service or create pages on behalf of others as a commercial service without our written permission.

6. Page Creation and Limits

Each plan has a limit on the number of pages you can create. Free accounts get 1 page. Business accounts get up to 5. Attempting to exceed these limits will result in an error, not a charge.

Pages on the Free plan include a small "Powered by GetBizOnline" badge. Paid plans remove this badge.

7. Content Removal

We may remove or disable any page that:

• Violates these Terms.
• Represents a business that does not exist or is fraudulent.
• Contains illegal or harmful content.
• Is the subject of a valid legal complaint or takedown request.
• Has been inactive for more than 12 months with no page views.

We will try to notify you before removing a page, but we are not required to. If your page is removed for a Terms violation, you may not be eligible for a refund.

8. Use of Public Business Data

GetBizOnline pulls business information from publicly available sources, including Google Maps, Yelp, Facebook, and similar platforms. This includes:

• Business name and category
• Address and phone number
• Customer reviews and ratings
• Photos associated with the business listing
• Business hours and website URL

This data is publicly available and is used solely to generate your landing page. We do not collect private or non-public business data.

If you find that your business data is displayed on GetBizOnline and you did not request it, you can ask us to remove it by contacting support@getbizonline.com. We will remove it promptly.

9. Third-Party Services

GetBizOnline relies on third-party services to function. By using our Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by:

• Google Places API -- to retrieve public business information based on the link or name you provide.
• Anthropic (Claude API) -- to generate personalized text content for your landing page. The business information you provide is sent to Anthropic's API to generate descriptions and taglines.
• Resend -- to send transactional emails (login links, verification codes, lead notifications). Your email address is shared with Resend for this purpose.
• Stripe -- to process payments for paid plans. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe handles all payment processing.

Each of these services has its own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

10. AI-Generated Content

The text on your landing page is generated by artificial intelligence (specifically, Anthropic's Claude). This means:

• It may contain errors. AI-generated descriptions might include inaccurate details about your services, hours, or offerings. You should review your page after it is generated and request corrections if needed.
• It is not professional advice. The content is marketing copy, not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
• Similar businesses may get similar content. Because AI works from patterns, two similar businesses might receive similar descriptions. This is expected behavior, not plagiarism.

You are responsible for reviewing the content on your page and ensuring it accurately represents your business. If something is wrong, contact us and we will fix it or regenerate the content.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

GetBizOnline is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep the Service running and the content accurate, but we make no guarantees that:

• The Service will be available 100% of the time.
• AI-generated content will be error-free or perfectly suited to your business.
• Your page will rank in search engines or generate a specific number of leads.
• Public business data will be current or complete.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetBizOnline's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you are on the Free plan, our liability is limited to $0.

We are not liable for:

• Lost profits, lost business, or lost data.
• Errors in AI-generated content.
• Downtime or service interruptions.
• Actions taken by third-party services we rely on.
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
• Send an email notification to registered users for material changes.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree with a change, stop using the Service and contact us to delete your account.

14. Termination

By you: You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@getbizonline.com. When you delete your account, your pages will be taken offline and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account is inactive for more than 12 months, or if we discontinue the Service. We will try to give you 30 days notice before discontinuing the Service so you can export your data.
